green krytopnite stock--burnt orange scout--burnt orange lockback--antique orange tooth & crushed shell trapper
the lockback & the tooth look identical to myself although they have different titles. the burnt orange scout looks nothing like the burnt orange lockback. i believe we can agree the stock is green & the trapper is almost white. members are well advised to buy the knives by photos & give scant attention to gec color desiginations.i believe the factory quality at this time is one of the best in the world but we should not pay much attention to pattern & color monikers.

Maybe it's just a case of you say orange and I say orange...;) (Let's call the whole thing off...)

What doesn't seem to be in dispute, Dennis, is that you have a fine collection of knives there, young pup. :D

It's true, they display a certain amount of colour-blindness or bending the name at GEC!
I've got the Burnt Orange on a single blade flat bolster 73 and allegedly the same on the Lockback-just as you show. They look different to me! All grand knives mind.

As per usual Dennis...FANTASTIC knives...I must admit...although it lacks it's brothers colouring...the crushed shell Trapper ( to me) is one hell-of-a-nice knife!!

Unless GEC is archiving every pattern and color, you must have the world record collection, Dennis!
GEC is not alone in misnaming knife finishes and patterns. It has been a proud tradition in the cutlery industry methinks!
:D
