So I joined the seemingly growing and infinite line of convex lovers. I just got a Bark River Bravo Necker knife , just to get a feel of what it is all about. Very different at first. Finally got the sandpaper and mousepad/strop bit to work. I just lifted up a tad more and finally produced an edge. I purposely dulled it. So anything I need to remember about these knives? Tricks? Any info would be appreciated. Oh, can you recommend me a blade from Bark River or Blackjack for skinning? What is a good length as well? Thank you.

Bark River good skinners: Highland Special, Canadian Special, mini-Northstar (albeit a tad pointy), and any of the other minis
