Turned this old P.O.S Cattaraugus WW2 knife into a traditional tanto hybrid. Honestly, if I had to pick the hardest part of this project it would be wrapping the handle. But in the end, the knife came out to be a stunning and functional one of a kind piece. A steel mekugi, fuchi/kashira/guard are gun-blued, real black ray skin inlay, and a copper habaki (look it up). This was one hell of a learning experience for me and I am completely satisfied with the outcome. I have no idea if I'm going to sell it, or hang on to it. Either way it's a badass knife !!!

As someone who has sent his embellished creations out into the wild, that's a hard call whether to keep it, or let others enjoy it. Beautiful job, that handle wrap looks really difficult!
