That is a real nice size Crappie. The lake looks decent, no choppy water spun from Alberto. Did you put your
fillet knife to use? Thanks for these photos. DM
 
Thanks guys , David the weather was good a little hot but we fished under the 515 bridge. I did not use the Buck fillet knife
on this bunch. The brother-in-law did this group .
 
Nice Fish! Crappie are my favorite fish to eat when cooked the way I like them. I like them rolled in corn meal and tossed on the grill. I have skinned them like a catfish, rolled them in meal, and either grilled or fried them. The meat falls off the bones.

I think a fish fry with a bunch of crappies is about the best way to spend a summer day. My mouth is watering!!!
