I'm happy to post that I got a weekend with my friend Scott McGhee!
We made this little 1084 hunter with Wengee

That is really nice, sleek yet has that sturdy hard worker look!

I like the Wegee wood.

Let me just say that Scott Gallagher is a unique student. He came to my shop with a lot of skills and an incredible drive to get the job done. Most folks I've taught couldn't have accomplished what Scott did in only 2 1/2 days. I enjoyed working with him immensely and I think he had a good time. Great job Mr. Gallagher! Here are a few pictures I took during the process.

What a cool knife, can you share the specs? Just curious.

Thank You Scott McGee! Yes I had a great time and learned a bunch! Amazing how it doesn't feel like work when you enjoy what's your doing. I've been very fortunate to be able to go to school at Scott McGee's. He's a great teacher!!
Spec' blade is 1084, 4" long 0.195 thick at the ricasso. ss.guard with black spacer. 4.3/4 handle

i like it! That handle is very well designed and realized, and i know it is not easy making good looking handles for little blades

Nice one, Scott! Looks like you got some really solid instruction. Look forward to seeing more from you...keep up the good work, buddy!

Love this stuff. Great looking knife, and I'm guessing good times in the shop, too!!!

yeah, that's nice. Sweet thread.
