A recent trip to Paris had me fall in love at first sight with a real-live Randall 2 (previously only seen in pictures) at Kindal's, Avenue de l'Opéra... just the leather handle version, but that makes it more classic for me.
Just had to buy it, and while not the most expensive of my couple of dozen serious/collectible knives, it certainly crowns the collection, immediately taking pride of place... by virtue of the grace of its curve, the combination of materials (high-carbon blades live!)... well, you know how it is.
So, as a new Randall socialite, I'm pleased and honored to say - hi, everyone!
