The cure for the common PC: How big of a khuk is enough?

Anyone here ever have problems logging into forums? Not just bladeforums, any forums or message boards. My computer for some reason decides that it doesnt want me going to some forums, only to allow me back on weeks later, as was the case just recently with bladeforums (I cant stay quiet that long...).

I have had two people look at it, one who is a near-expert on internet related problems, and another who is actually paid to do such things (he was a friend, so no money wasted). Several other people have offered advice/solutions, but to no avail.

I just may have come up with the answer... but I'd try to find out if horn handles conduct electricity before I execute my plan :)

How big of a Khuk is big enough?

Here is the test...

Find the biggest Khuk you can find and try to lift it. If you can lift it, it is too small. Repeat until you find one that you cannot lift. Then get one 2 pounds lighter.

Wait...what is this thread about...

It's about destroying my pc!! With a khuk! or internet explorer moreover I guess, but I cant really slash at that... maybe the little icon on the desktop... if I.... mumble mumble....wonder if HI.... make me a khuk that big.... .....zzzzzz....

seriously, its about problems logging into forums or message boards. I am the only know I know of who has had this problem, just wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I can't help you with the forums.

For the PC, I'd recommend a 20" (minimum) AK, or even better yet, a sword.

Come to think of it, I may be able to find an old PC kicking around here somewhere...

Don't know if the experts you had look at it tried it but download firefox or opera. Just something other than internet explorer. Many IT guys who fix computers don't tell people to download these because people do not want to learn a new program. Try it, it is easy.

I have not had any login problems with opera. Actually I never have to log in anywhere I visit regularly. I figure it is just opera keeping bladeforums.com (and everything else) in memory and knowing to login.

As for which khuk, this is getting into destructive testing, I mean sheet metal, aluminum and copper blocks, densely packed harddrives with powerful magnets, I'm in. You won't get too far with just swinging though, try getting a hammer and chisiling into the computer from the top. Post pictures of the computer and the khuk when you are done.

Oh ya, use what ever khukuri you already have with the chisil method I just mentioned. Or use a cold steel khuk that you don't care about as this goes beyond standard use.

Firefox is a great alternative to IE.

As for the PC, I would recommend one with an all-wood handle, and no buttcap, such as the Jangee (won't have conductivity problems). They run about 20" and 2 pounds. Should make a good dent.

I would unplug the computer first. But I'm a wimp.

Who was it that posted a picture of themselves threatening their computer with a khukuri? This was at least 2 years ago.....funny stuff, though. :D

I would say any heavy thick edged khuk would do it. Maybe something like a 20" or 25" AK with a brutish masher edge. I have destroyed computers in such a manner, but i've never used my khuks. Too many hardened edges to gouge the softer parts on the blade. However, i would suggest maybe a cold steel rifleman's hawk. That's what i use for trashin stuff. 2lbs with the handle. Simply smash the blade into the top of the casing, then flip it around and use the poll to smash the rest of the way through. A good rule of thumb to save your edge is edge for the casing and motherboard, poll for the frame holding the drives in;) I've "put down" three computers with this hawk. Everyone of them had it coming.

As Kis would say, be safe. wear goggles:)

Destroying a computer? With a khuk? Nah, time to get back to basics...

use the leaf spring itself. ;)

I just realized I still have my old computer in the garage.....Hmmm.......:D

Generally, I don't condone violence.

That said:

consider a splitting maul and safety glasses. :D VERY satisfying.

25" Ang Khola that weighs 5 pounds would be my pick.. Specially if it was made by Durba and goes by the name godzilla. :D Wonder how it's holding up to the Colorado winters...

At last; a thread that reaches my innermost spiritual being.

I think about shooting them- my old boxes that died of virus.

You may be a wimp but you are a smart wimp!!!!

Nah, just keep a good grip on a wood handle:D you *should* be ok;)

I've thought about shooting them too. Maybe a 12g or a .45. I'd put a baggie with corn syrup and red food coloring in it so it would "bleed"...but i'm also know for being..off in certain circles;)

Are you sure someone else doesn't have some sort of blocking program that you can't see on your computer. My PC guy told me about 2 that I could check up on the kid and such. It could block access to certain sites without the other party knowing it was being done. They may let you on occasionally so you won't get suspicious. Take with a grain of salt coming from an ex. I won't even put the program on for my daughter. We have a good enough relationship that I do actually trust her online. Plus I'm capable of sneaking in any computer room undetected. Who needs an expensive program. :D

But my favorite khuk for computer rearranging would be Tiny......Erics 30" AK
