This is a prototype of a knife that my brother Dan designed and will be manufacturing later this summer. He will mostly, be using virgin 52100 steel for his blades and will fuse some traditional design lines along with many contemporary influences.

He will be using his first and middle name, "Daniel Wayne" on his blades in order to avoid confusing the consumer by using his last name "Busse".

This is a prototype ONLY and many changes will be made to the design before it is offered publicly. It is a very cool blade!!!

Congrats Dan!!!! Nice Job!!!!

Can't get the blasted search function to work, but I think Jerry said it was stacked micarta washers.

Nice design... what's the story on "virgin 52100" ??? Will the heat treat on the steal be the secret Busse heat treat or something else?

WOW!!!!!

Must run in the family. :) A very nice, clean design. I can see a successful future for these knives.
