We’ve put our Defender Sword on sale on the website. Thought we’d share some pictures of it.

The Defender’s Short Sword

Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Measurements:
Total Length = 31 ½ ”
Blade Length = 22 ½ “
Blade Width = 2 7/8” widest
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 9 ”
Handle Width = 1 ½ “ widest
Handle: Black Micarta
Weight = 2 lb

Is the blade 2 7/8" at the front guard, or at the most outward point of the belly? What edge angle are you using?

That blade looks like it would cut through quite a bit before slowing down. I like it a lot!
 
Thanks guys for your comments. As far as the blade width, it's the widest point on the blade itself. Not the guard. I do these by hand so I don't really know the edge angle.
