Great steel, great frn, love the FFG models. If only the frn had an indent where the pocket clip went. Every single Delica I've bought has developed pocket clip play from side to side and no matter how many times I tighten the screws or loc tite the threads it happens again within days. It's so close to perfect, but the darn clip won't stay put! Has anybody found a decent fix for this by chance?

Mine have never done that. Do you take the pocket clip off and clean-oil everything? You might be getting oil on the screw threads.

What EZ Blake said. Try to clean out the threads with de-greaser and blow it out with compressed air.

Well the problem starts without me ever taking the clip off to begin with. Maybe I'm just rough on my knives? It's happened to my Para 2 once, but only once and after tightening up it has stayed snug for a while now. I can't help but wish the FRN had a cutout for the clip like the Native has had for ages. I'll try de-greaser tomorrow, I'll have to pick some up.

If you are that rough on clips the pocket in the FRN might not be good. At least with the barrel 'screw' the native used. The clip just rotates and cuts/ deforms the FRN and then nothing seems to take out clip wiggle. If your clip is screwed on that will be your best bet, you just have to figure out how to keep the screws tight. I would suggest some teflon tape. It doesn't require absolutely clean metal and can be adjusted without permanently breaking a loc tite bond.

Are you scraping the clip across the bottom of your steering wheel every time you get out of your car? I have messed up many clips and steering wheels doing that.

Does the Delica 4 not have threaded holes in the nested liners that the pocket-clip screws into? I could have sworn mine does.

It's got steel skeletonized liners that they nest into, yes. I'm going to pick up another Delica soon and maybe try some teflon tape if the new one comes loose. I've yet to pick up a Gray FFG model and I'm starting to want one. Been through 2 brown.

If you know you're never going to change the clip position then JB Weld solves a lot of problems.
