Some of you might have seen my Appalachian trail thread asking what knife to bring.

Well after carefully ignoring everyones opinions on bringing a small knife ive decided to bring my TGDC. Yeah its way overkill and yes ounces = pounds and pounds = pain, i learned that the hard way a long time ago humping a fat ruck filled with useless crap uncle sam decided i should have.

So before i take the knife out for a beating and breaking in i decided to give it a little photo op with another item i own i consider a desert crusader.

presenting the MK18 pistol thats about a month away from getting a form 1 so it can really be what it was meant to be, the most badass SBR on the planet (imo).

Great looking combo there sir! Well we will have to call these the before pics since she's sure to look much different after your long trek! Riffle too I suppose after the F1 gets approved!:thumbsup: Really like your crusade footer/picture also, they'd love that out east:D Safe travels!

Wow! that blade is sweet....when did they come out... I don't think I would have let that one get away on OP2W! Enjoy the hike on the trail...you got a great blade there!

Great pics !! Some awesome gear there for sure. I don't blame you for taking that one. That TG should = soooo much fun !!!

Awesome pics!
I love the Surefire! The can, not the light, although I love Surefire lights too.

Nice set up. Makes this old soldier jealous a bit. Need to knock the dust off my crusader and my M4 and dress her up like what you got there. I got the exact Crusader but my M4 is just issue black and been in the safe for many years.
