Is the desert jack going to be offered again, or can I find it floating somewhere. Another question was does the blade come in black coating like the RW, or is it just a desert color run.
 
From what I understand, the tan ones were a military contract over-run. Some people were lucky enough to get the leftovers. :cool:

If the knife shows up again, which it probably will, it's more than likely going to be in black-on-black as part of the SRT (tactical) line.

Desert jacks can be had on the secondary market, but it'll probably be hard to find someone who wants to part with one. They're worth the try, though! :D
 
I'm sure that he appreciates the suggestion Bravado, but I think that he was looking for a knife to USE. :rolleyes:

Yeah, these Hoggy boys come over and act like they use their INFI like rats use their...well, rats. But we know the truth. They all have a frost cutlery they use when something needs cutting. If they didn't have so much tied up in INFI, they could afford a good Buck knife or something ...:rolleyes:

The Desert Jack is quite possibly my favorite Rat, and I’d definitely like to have another one (black on black) if it becomes a standard part of the tactical line.

I might even trade some INFI for it.
 
yeah, the only thing keeping me from getting that HOGFSH at the company store is that i know the RatMastiff is right around the corner.

oh yeah, and i'll have enough left over to get another ratweiler.

and take the wife out to dinner.

and get a tank of gas.

i could go on, really...

I'd rather have the INFI. Of course I don't care for that knife in 3/16. I like them a little fatter. I like the handle on the Busse better as well.
Of course as most of you may have read and I know Bravado knows it's my favorite model.
 
Remember when there was a rash of fake knives coming in from china that was made to look like custom blades, well... those are the ones you see in all the action photos. You don't think someone would beat a $400 knife through wood do ya? :D
