The Kill Devil that is :devilish:

Took the Family out for a picnic today to their favorite place, the wood pile.
**A BIG Thank You to Eric for selling me this KD I can't thank you enough**

Kill Devil test
Testing 1, 2...is this thing on?
Here goes.......
Chopped - Worked awesome
Whittled/shaved - Worked awesome
Throwing - Worked awesome
Arm shaving test after going through log and the ground a few times - Worked awesome
Flex test - Worked awesome
Cutting empty beer cans in half - Worked awesome

I am completely sold on the Kill Devil. It is light in hand but not too light, I honestly could not put it down I wanted to chop and spike everything I saw and I did.
I got the spike to go into a log almost the whole way. I give it a 10 out of 10 :thumbup:
get one if you can they are wicked awesome :thumbup::thumbup:

How does that devil throw? I've been throwing knives for over 20 years now and just recently started throwing hawks... If she throws nice I don't think I'll be able to resist. :D
 
I have only thrown my DSF and this KD and it throws awesome, seriously I stuck it on the first try, second try and thirds try, It took me about 4 more shots then I was on fire again.
It is very well balanced and like all Busse Kin it is very well thought out :thumbup:
I'm in love if you couldnt tell :D
 
Sweet, thanks for the report. That makes me extra happy about scoring one on the exchange, actually I think I got the sister to yours.

I'll have work for it soon, buyin a new house that comes with some fireplaces and a woodpile.
 
I didn't realize that had an edge that would be good for wood work. Thought it was more of a crash axe type tool.

Now I might have to buy one.

dingy, can you pick out the exact pic where you think you see chips? I'm not seeing any damage.

When I went through the log I went right into the ground hard and most likely hit a rock. No big deal I will smooth it right out.
Like I said earlier and I swear on it.....the first log I went through when I was through it I took the KD to my arm and honestly shaved hair off it.
It was wicked sharp from the factory, by far the sharpest I have ever gotten.
These KD's are so nice that if they release them I am buying another :thumbup:
