I wear it with my business suits. Clip it to my pocket and get asked to see and complimented in the meantime.
It's a very well finished, compact and "mechanical". Just a very cool little Gentlemen's Knife.
Glad I have two of them.

Hi Bill,

How does it compare to a Pegasus?? I have a plain edged one and I always carry it cos its so small I hardly notice it but it has a wicked little blade that comes in handy for most things - apart from cutting open water melons!

I think the Wegner "Mouse" would give D'Holder's toad a good run for its money..

Ken,
The blade area of the Pegasus is twice that of the Toad. The Pegasus blade also has some belly to it while the Toad is straight.
The Toad's frame is almost twice as thick as the Pegasus, and the clip mounts at the tip of the scale-which exposes very little of the knife when clipped to a pocket.
The Toad weighs about 30% less because the scales are almite coated aluminum sandwiched toghther with a s/s frame.
The Toad is a walker-type lever lock while the Pegasus is a lockback.
I like the fact that you can close the Toad without rotation it in your hand.
Everything about the knife has been designed with ergos in mind. It's fun to play with.
Mine opens envelopes, cuts fingernails, sharpens pencils-domestic office stuff.
I carry my Toad during the week and usually a Navigator(G-10),Pegasus or Standard on the weekends.

Ergonomic though it might be, if I remember correctly from the time I handled it, the Toad is one knife that absolutely defies left-handed use, yes?
