After landing in Atlanta for work i put my suitcase in the trunk of the rental car open it up and pull my new small sebenza insingo out and clip it to my pocket. I walk up to the passenger side to settle my GPS and my ipod and as i open the door i hear this kaclunk followed by a scrapping noise. Well it turns out my sebbie wasn't exactly clipped to my pocket. Panic runs through my heart as i look at my knife on the pavement half open.
I check it over, note the minor scrapes on the clip. I look the blade over and don't notice any chipping so i run my thumb down the blade and i feel something noticeable near the tip. nothing visible so i know i can take it out with my sharpmaker. Being in atlanta for work i don't have my sharpmaker on hand. I checked google for some near by sharpening services but none are really close enough as i'm on a time table for work. So it rides the pocket with it's battle damage for the next day.
Now i'm home and after a few strokes on the white stone of my sharpmaker it's almost good as new. So here's to this being the worst accident involving my small Sebenza Insingo i will have.
