The Eagle has landed !! First Busse experience

Well the Eagle has landed, twice even!! My first Busse knives arrived Wednesday.

The first, a new Meaner Street DC finish w/Black Paper Micarta, also included in the deal was an Okuden sheath, awesome sheath by the way. This was a private sale and a great deal from a BF board member randucci. Great guy, great communication and fast shpping.

The second, yes, I had to have two, is another Meaner Street, DC finish with snakeskin scales. This was purchased through the Busse company store. I ordered it this past Monday, it arrived on wednesday! I'm thinking maybe an FSH for the weekend.

These knives are fantastic and scream "use me and abuse me". They feel great in the hand and have a lot more character than the Striders and other knives I am used to. Problem is I dont want to use these now. I want a 3rd one as a beater !!!! What's wrong with me? Why do I "NEED" more? Was I not held enough as a kid? Anyone wanna buy a kidney?

Congrats on a couple of great knives, don't be afraid to use them. One of the great things about Busse knives is that they hold their value very well, even in a used and abused condition.

Can't wait to see the pics of your growing collection.

Those are good knives you have there. The first time useing a new one does give a little sting but thats part of the fun, a little adrenaline rush.
