And I love it. Worth the exchange for the Custom Shop SFNO I let go I think. Whil the CSSFNO was more rare, nothing beats a saber grind in my opinion. The mags feel great in hand and it has great balance. Fits right back into the Spec-Ops sheath too and it's good to go. There is one strange anomaly on it, like the grind pressure changed ever so slightly causing a slight bump or what not. That just bumps up the thickness a tad :D. Perhaps I'll try to shoot that tomorrow. It's a great knife and a pleasure to own. I'd consider this my grail knife (of this size :D).
Thanks again Busse crew! My favorite knife thus far.

Looks like you got the dark batch of micarta. What size Spec Ops sheath does this fit into, and did you modify the sheath liner at all?

The picture may not appear 100% accurate on various monitors...I would call it a lighter version but not quite as orange?
Fits into the large and yes I had to modify the liner. Tape the edge and spin of the knife with about three layers of duct tape or masking tape. Bake the liner at 300 degrees on a piece of tin foil until it's very pliable. It should be about 4 or 5 minutes. Remove from over, slide knife in, allow to cool, remove knife, reinsert liner!

A dry day, maybe a trip to HD to pick up some chopping implements?
Very happy with the feel and sharpness of this one :D
It's a pain peeling apples but slicing and chopping food stuffs works well.
The edge actually seems like it is a more acute angle than the other Busse's I own/owned.

Very nice! I'm still waiting for mines. Ironic folks are already buying/exchanging them and getting them delivered on the exchange market.

Best things come to those who wait.........?

Wait a minute... I thought you always oppose a thick knife like a Busse in the kitchen? Hmmm, look at you now. Great pictures btw.

I do! It has no place in the kitchen!
Well, except to shave away some boredom with mediocre cutting tests, and be on display.

I wanted to see how well it cut. Honestly I'm still surprised(?) at the edge. It has a more polished look to it. Very well done, I really am impressed.
The boy wants to go to HD tomorrow so I'll grab a scrap 2x4 and maybe a 4x4 too.
That being said, I've managed to ruin my Spec Ops liner and put a good scratch in the blade.
