The edge on a Busse knife

For starters, I only own two Busse Blades-The Boss Jack and the Mil overrun HG 55. The Boss Jack I used and abused. Sharpened on a wet stone and it push cuts paper. The Mil is still mint-haven't had the heart to use it yet. I do not find the HG 55 had a descent edge for its shape. I believe it is sharpened on a sixty degree angle, but I am not positive. I am considering re-profiling both edges to a 30 degree angle. I am no expert on INFI Steel-I just know what I destroyed with my Boss Jack. I know it took a beating before having to re-sharpen. I am looking for opinions on what is the better angle for INFI Steel to get as close to razor sharp as possible. Or, maybe I shouldn't go for hair splitting as that may be too delicate for hard use. What are the thoughts from the avid users and collectors?

Told ya it wouldnt make an ideal skinner :D
Glad ya got a hold of one though, Tough as hell blade.

That is what I am asking-Is re-profiling the blade worth it, or will it make the edge too thin?
It doesn't have to be an ideal skinner, but if it is an all around blade, I am comfortable with that.

I would reprofile it to about 20degrees each side or 40 inclusive. That has always been the sweet spot for me of being able to get razor sharp and still be tough and resistant to damage.
