A few weeks ago I got my grail in, a Large P Sebenza, and realized that a nice stonewashed S35vn blade would make this knife my ultimate Sebenza. So I sent it in requesting a new blade with fingers crossed, and I got a call Monday saying it was ready to ship back! Just got it in today and I'm through the roof! They also blasted the handles and reheat treated the lockbar free of charge, making this one ready for decades of service!

This truely is the Epitome of the Sebenza in my opinion.

Simple Perfection.

You get two slabs of Ti and a clean stonewashed blade. Nothing you don't need, no pocket clip, no embellishments, bare minimum perfection.

I can honestly say this one will stay with me for an eternity.

I took some quick pictures right out of the box and it went right into my sheath and off to work, cutting cardboard boxes for parts bins.

The only things I will change are the lanyard to a fancy knot and polish up the screws. I will add pictures once I get that done.

Congratulations! That is a beautiful knife. I can see why it is your grail. Enjoy it!

Very clean indeed. I think part of the appeal of CRK is that sometimes less is more; yet even with embellishments, it never really looks overdone.

Wow, there is defiantly a differance in the blade profile and the sandblasting finish. I believe all the ATS-34 were originally beadblasted. Looks Good but I wouldn't have refinished the scales, that was part of the charm of the old sebenza but I guess it doesn't matter when you have two:D. There is a huge differance between the ATS-34 model and the ones that came after, Congratulations brother I know exactly how you feel.

Awesome! Wish I had just one proto... Not to mention one of the simplest designs, combined with excellent craftsmanship.

Beautiful!

What exactly is reheat treating the lockbar and can you tell a difference?

Umm... doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of having an early model of something? Like getting a really old piece of furniture and refinishing it.

It's a discontinued model. No matter how pretty it's been made to look, it'll always be rare. It's not a 1800's wagon wheel or Victorian era fainting couch. Its an awesome Sebenza that won't ever be in production again.

Great snag Tyler, use em proudly!

Yeah, thats nice one. I still don't know where you guys find these rarities? And nobody seems to want to tell me?

Very nice.

Totally agree that the design is vastly better without stuff written on the scale and pocket clip holes etc.

I wish you could order a modern Sebenza like this.

Less is more.

You just made me even more excited to receive the small P sebbe that I just recently scored!

I prefer the large regular to the small, so I'm sure I will feel the same about the Ps. Now a large P is at the top of my cRK wish-list!

That is fantastic.

I have to agree with you, that is the epitome of a Sebenza. Everything you need, nothin' you don't.

Should be a standard model in the CRK line-up.
