The ESEE/Becker Collaboration

not released no winners been picked no names have been chosen, it is a Ka-bar product bearing the BK14 ? I think it will still be the BK14
 
So what if they decide not to go with any of the suggested names?

Hell, I'll still buy one even if it's called the KA-BAR Turd.
 
Well good. I wasn't the only one in the dark. This collaboration seemed destined to happen given the similar styles of the knives. It only makes sense.

it was going to be the "brat" but due to the RAT cutlery to ESEE knives name change that name was scrapped, hence the large "name this knife" contest that just ended recently.

I got to hold one yesterday at the BLADE show. Cool little knife. Tell them to make an orange or yellow coated one.
 
Not sure if this is actually the name but at the blade show center awards booth they had a tag with it that called it the ESKABAR, like Pablo I guess?
 
The guy at the show told me it was called the Eskabar as well. I am pretty sure that name was brought up by someone in the contest.
 
Ethan told me it looked like the name was going to be the ESKABAR. I liked BRAT better, but... Seems like ESKABAR leaves out the Becker element.

Ethan was pretty disappointed that they were ready for Blade. I'm definitely going to be getting one when they are out.
 
This BK14 is one I will buy or sure. I tried a Becker Necker a few years ago and didn't like the short handle but loved the blade.

I have a new Becker Companion on the way and this little one would be a good addition to it.
