so umm the sheath the eskabar.. does that come with a neck sheath or a belt sheath?

cause i dont rly have a use for a neck sheath but if its a belt sheath itd br a different story
 
It works either way. A couple loops of para-cord and it can be strapped to your belt, or worn around your neck just as easily.

i dont really dig neck knives, personally i think there stupid unless ur out in the woods or something, im looking for something that will be concealed (as the state law requires) and i like the eskabar but i know nothing about the sheath, witch is important

So put it in the sheath and drop it in your pocket, problem solved. You're not one of those guys that rocks skinny jeans now are you?
 
I don't like the GFN sheaths they come with although you can get a TDI clip for them still not my cup of tea. I'd pick up some custom kydex or leather, your preference but it definently needs a new sheath.

nah, i wear black dickies work pants most of the time cause thats what my work requires, when im home i rock pjs and shorts all day lol, when i go out jeans or regular just pants
 
I put mine in the factory sheath and it fits perfectly in the front right pocket of a pair of wranglers...I would imagine it wouldn't fit any differently in a pair of Dickies work pants...

i want something on a belt tho i got enough stuff in my pockets already
 
That's what I do. Horizontal carry on the left side.

All the talk about the factory sheath dulling the knife is also over blown. Just use the knife and sheath and resharpen a few times and no more problems.

If the knife rattles cut a 1" to 1 1/2" piece of para-cord and drop in the sheath, problem solved.

Sheath issue not fixed! I love my Eskabar, but the sheath still dulls the knife quickly. Kabar said they are using the new sheath, and mine is 3 months old. I'm looking at having a custom sheath made the right way.

Old stock. Just cuz its 3 months old doesn't mean it wasn't on a shelf for a while before that. Unfortunately that's how it goes sometimes but kabar is no longer manufacturing glass filled sheaths. Kabar is also using a new textured coating but you won't see those until current stock with the flat coating is gone. A custom is the way to go tho.

Thanks clich, when I called Kabar they said they use less glass, but still use glass filled in the sheaths. I definately want a custom, and res1cue has a great design going.
