I decided to buy one of those Polo shirts with the crossed Khukris. The ones used by Elephant Polo Players in Nepal. Anyway, inside was a tag that mentions...
'We have dressed the British Gurkah team for the World Elephant polo Championships in Nepal for 2 years.........we have teamed up with the World Elephant Polo Association, The Gurkha Welfare Trust and the Esther Benjamin's trust for this project so that some of the money that you pay for this shirt will go directly back to worthwhile causes all over Nepal'
There is another tag for the Esher Benjamins Trust... it says....
'The Esther Benjamins Trust is the leading Registered Charity that work solely for the most disadvantaged Nepalese children. th Trust is actively retrieving girls who have been trafficked into a life of abuse and exploitation as performers in Indian circuses. Once home they are given back their childhood and hop for the future, while the agents who trafficked them are put behind bars.'
