So I saw the "Do you remember your first" post, and it made me think, I would like to see how your beckers have changed! But I mean your favorite one. the one you use the most, beaten up, reground, stripped, new sheath, ground on more, changed handles, stuff you built with it! Essentially, A progression of your favorite becker knife. I posted most of these pictures in the other thread, but ill get it started.

My favorite is my Bk2, and it has been through it all! And been changed alot.

Shiny and new! (sorta) :D

Some work!

Some winter shelter building! I really had fun with this one, it was my first trip to the "woods" with the bk2, and it was so awesome. The inside of this shelter was pretty large, and I built it too big, But...Go big or go home. :)

After much more time, and abuse, I finally stripped it, and through on a tiger stripe patina.

Here is the bk2 after some use, posing with a care package received from another beckerhead!

And that is the evolution of my bk2! so far. :)

Love the evolution pics. The tiger stripe patina looks awesome. And that shelter is huge! :) I think that should be the location for the next becker gathering ;)

My first was the BK2. It had EXCELLENT reviews. Key words that i like were used, like: built like a tank, heavy duty, indestructible, bombproof. I like to hear words like that when looking for something that, in a worse case scenario, my life may depend on. Thats what led me to BK&T. Then, after receiving my BK2, i was so impressed, that, along came another, then another. I was equally impressed with each & every one & still am.

High quality, hard use knives, at working persons wages.

The only thing that has changed about my 14 so far is the 3/8" hole I drilled out in the Zytel handles. They feel pretty awesome to me just like that. Once I get rivets a non-dulling sheath is next on the list :)

My BK16 arrived Fisked and Cliched.

I removed the bluing, and patina'd, and stippled the scales.

Modded the sheath and made mycarta scales.

Finally, along with expanding the family, I recently picked up a leather sheath.

Beckers do not change

they change YOU

ponder this oh young egg

When I got it:

After some use, I decided it could go on a diet to make it better serve my needs, so I took out the file and sandpaper.

Buhbye shoulders.

Last Fall, after much use.

Now it is quite a bit more dirty after being worked hard and put away wet.

Thought about taking it to the wire wheel and getting rid of some of the mess, but it has earned it and I would hate to erase the last year of use
