The fakes are all over ebay!

Before I was a member here...just a few days ago. I would surf ebay looking for a sweet deal on a pretty frequent basis. Well as I learned more about Busse and kin I started spotting fakes. So I contacted busse about 2 I found. Well today I was looking for a cheap lapidary saw...I rockhound...and found another. Sent Busse an email about it.
I hope this will help those who are new to busse and kin. If your new to busse and kin definitely read and search posts here. You'll learn alot and save yourself from a bad buy.

Ebay sucks for fakes. That said some of the rarest Busse knives I own came from Ebay.

This gets brought up a lot. Just know what you’re buying and ask questions on the forum if there’s any concerns regarding legitimacy on a specific blade.

Now id always check here and the exchange or oder directly from the Busse site.
Also gonna pass on a lapidary saw from ebay. Just gonna suck it up and get a nice one.

IP thieves are the worst kind of scum.

That was the 1st one I sent in! Then a swamp rat and then another...lol

The box,sheath, and price were my 1st clues!
Now my wife like to surprise me with knives. She goes factory direct or known and trusted online dealers.
If she went on ebay though she wouldn't know the difference!
