Good thing I sleep on the couch, these guys are real bed hogs.

The newest 5 with the green grivory just helped me fix up some jambalaya which was absolutely amazing. The unstripped 15 with the TKC handles is going to be a project for a buddy of my brother-in-law's son graduating this spring. Planning on etching it, stripping it, making some leather pants for it, and putting a mirror edge on it. Not sure if I like my brother-in-law enough to polish the blade, we'll see :D I like him enough to have loaned him another 5 and 15 but polishing that blade will be a project.

I really need to quit burning money on after market handles, the grivory works just fine. The micarta and G10 just make them more .. I dunno what to call it. Tactile? Warm? It just changes the grip. In a good way.

Not that this will be a surprise to anyone here but Dex is the freaking man. I forgot something on my initial order so had to place a second one, he emailed me back right away, kept me updated on shipping, and threw in some extra goodies. An absolute class act.

Loving those orange/black TKC scales. Gonna have to get a set one of these days. I have micarta on my 17, but my 16's and 15 are stock. Could get spendy!

The G10 handles aren't cheap for sure but they're worth it to me. I've been slowly upgrading all of the handles to either the micarta or G10 and I'll probably keep doing it. I don't need to, but I probably will anyways.

To me that's the whole fun part of the Becker line. They're great out of the box - tough, useful, functional tools. And they just beg to have you strip, clip, polish, or whatever you want to do to make them yours.

On a side note.. what do you suppose you should call a group of Beckers? There's a gaggle of geese, murder of crows, a mob of emus.. If it's not already named I propose we call it a growler. There's my growler of Beckers. Yeah!

A very nice collection of blades mate. Those orange and black G10's look brilliant, I like the blue and the earth colour I think it's called? They are costly but worth the cash I think.

Having our own word would be fun. Most seem content just calling their collection a family.

Awesome Family you have there!

And Thank you sir for your order.

Those G-10 scales you have are really nice too.

Jambalaya you say? Now your speaking my language! Sounds amazing. I grew up on that stuff down in South Louisiana, Now I am wanting some, real bad! lol

I may have been a bit of a heathen- I couldn't find any okra for the jambalaya

Thanks for the comments guys, I'll pass it on to the 'growler'.

See, I'll just start using that word, and in a couple years it'll just be the accepted term for a group of Beckers :D

Ol Dex is a great fella for sure! I just bought a BK5 and 15 from him recently. The dude just does great business. Fine collection you've got there!

Wow..... Thank you so much for your business and the kind words...... Any chance you will be at Blade so I could buy you a brew?..... Looks like I owe you at least one!!!!!!..... Glad you are having fun with your growler of Beckers......LOL......... Great stuff.......

E

Shoot, if there is any thanks owed it's to you Mr. E. I've been a knife nut since I was a kid but it was mostly all BudK/Cheaper than Dirt/flea market junk knives. I broke knives left and right and just thought that was how it was supposed to be. When I started doing some reading about knives outside of the reviews in the knife magazines I found my way to a BK2 pretty quickly and the rest is history. So thank you for designing such excellent knives at such a great price.

I won't be at Blade but if we do ever run into each other the beer is definitely on me.
