Though still quite enamored with my few week old BK-7, it (I) longed for a companion (more). BK-11 seemed a perfect follow up. I also took my first crack at cord wrapping. Be gentle. Its not bad if I do say so myself.

You have received sub-par materials, I must ask you to mail it to me from proper disposal. That includes your 7. :D

Jk, that was gonna be my second BK, but then the Saber 16 came out and yeah, the 11 got temporarily displaced. How does the gutted cord wrap work for you?

I'm actually wishing I had left the guts in. Its a bit flat for my taste. I added that square knot to the lanyard for a little something extra to hold onto.

Excellent setup.

Might I also recommend you plastidip the handle first, then do a guts included paracord wrap. It seems to add some thickness to that little guy.

Congrats on the 11! It looks nice with that wrap, but I agree that you want the guts in the cord.

Welcome to the obsession. There's something unreal about the first time you use a BK9.

Congrats on the 11!
A staple in any Becker collection imo!
I used the outer skin of the cord when I first wrapped mine.
I made the loops as tight as I could next to each other.
I really liked the feel of it.

Then I decided to try out the micarta.
It really does make a world of difference!

lookin good. the 11 is a solid little knife. use it well. i just got a 2nd 14. The 11 and 14 are the ones that get the most carry time for me considering their sizes.

I do plan on getting micarta for it. That's one hell of a polish job there Jonny. The BK-14 is definately on my list, but i think i'm waiting for the D2 version. Probably going to keep a Big/Small pattern going on the order that I aquire these knives, so next is a 4 I believe.
