Hi guys so a little while a go I asked if the Frisians had a axe pattern,you guys helped me a lot with buying the head and making the handle , so I want to show you guys the finished product , here it is.http://imgur.com/a/U05qQ the handle is a little longer then normal but I like my axe to have long handles. Looks like you hung that Hudson Bay head upside down. Just kidding, looks good.

Looks good. Definitely a very interesting-looking tool, and in the long run it's going to be easier to shorten a handle (especially a 'straight' with no swell) than it is to lengthen. I presume you did your homework on this because I'd have instinctively hung it the other way around.
Best response is to get out there and use it!
