The Blackstar.

WE-manufactured ball-detent spipjslip. 2.5" clip point M390 blade. G10 & CF handles. Titanium pocket clip. Low-profile flipper tab.

$150 retail when it shows up.

LOVE the blade shape. I could do without the CF inserts, but not a deal killer by any means.

I don't mind inserts as long as they aren't screwed and bolted down. Of course, in the years to come, they may shrink (depending on the material) or separate, but I'm not a fan of anything bolted down to the handle.

I think, in this case, we can expect as close to near-perfect stability from G10 & CF as possible.

Too small for me, but I really like the overall shape. I like Elijah's designs quite a lot overall, I wouldn't consider buying them all, but I applaud him for going more unusual directions. The Omen looks great and the Dagger he designed for Kizer is pretty sweet as well.

I like that dagger except the giant hole at the base of the blade drives me batty.

That blade shape looks awesome.
The handle while it looks comfortable would look ugly if it didn't just work so well with the knife overall.

Surprisingly I really like this, the handle is too busy for my taste normally, but with this it just seems to work.

I really like the look of this knife and I LOVE We knives. Could do without the CF insert.

I hope it’s better in hand than the Isham Zeta. I returned the Zeta because it was awful in hand. Beautiful knife with lots of hot spots. The pocket clip on the knife pictured above looks similar to the Zeta clip. Hope it doesn’t ruin the ergonomics.

I have to agree, I know it's a "design queue" as they say. But I am on the fence, partially because the hole, but also because I am kind of left cold by Kizer. They are decent knives by all accounts, but something about them, I don't know. They lack something. I just own one, a Nomad, and it's a good knife, I like the shape, size and good action, but for some reason I rarely use/handle/carry it. And I haven't pulled the trigger on a 2nd, even though the Mjolnir and Toro are pretty cool looking. Can't really put my finger on it, the term "soulless" comes to mind for no good reason.:confused:

Ok, I can get behind a modern gunstock.

The only issue is that this pattern will fit your hand perfectly, or not at all.
If that kick on the inside of the handle lands in the middle of a finger, it will be a pain, but if it lands between them, you will have an awesome user.

I like it. Interesting concept. While Isham's designs are not exactly always EDC basic, I really like his style.

Tis a fine looking spipjslip. Maybe the finest (and only) spipjslip I've ever seen.

What is a spipjslip? :p

Id buy that.

Its not the knife itself but the sheath for a folder.

A term fielded by the most ancient sages.

Beautiful knife. Is the carbon fiber there for a smoother surface, so the clip won’t rip up your pants so bad?
