BUT CHIPS ARE NEVER ENDING PAIN

CQGJ7JV.jpg

Unboxing a part at work that was double boxed. The internal box had 3 of those large 1/8" thick packing staples and to my dismay I was unaware, but the tanto tip was not.. and took some damage.

Respectfully. Please forgive what I’m about to say. No I’ll intentions. Why would a knife that chips so easily be so coveted ? It chipped itself on a packing staple ? To each their own. I’ve had a few knives that didn’t perform and cost a small fortune. I’d be PISSED

Mr Ban Tang will sell you a 3V scalpel with a 4.5 inch blade for $550 + taxes. Chip free and One of the sharpest edges you’ll ever see.

Sorry I can't roll my eyes hard enough.

I'll buy what I like and you can buy whatever you like.

My SHIN is in YXR7.

Problem is I wasn't expecting to encounter 3 massive box staples hiding inside the other box.

I see! Sorry for the confusion. But kudos to you for actually using your Rockstead. While I've been fortunate enough to avoid chipping mine yet, it has seen a good amount of action breaking down boxes. They are fantastic knives. (Silver lining: you now have a rare SERRATED Shin!)
