As a spin off from the other thread on innovation in the forged blade I think it would be great for people to post pictures of knives they consider to offer something different, it can be a design, a new idea, a new take on an old theme. I don't want to get hung up on the semantics of the word 'innovation'. It has to be a forged knife that made you stop and say "wow, thats different, I like it".

I'll start with a knife from one of the top bladesmiths that made me realise that old wine can taste nice from a nice new designer decanter.

Many will rightly say theres nothing new in the shapes or materials ...... but how ofter do you see a forged damascus tactical with graphic damascus bolsters :D

Thanks for showing the "Tac" Stephen. This one was definitely out of the norm. Another good thread you have started but we need more pics guys :thumbup:

I have made 4 of these Tacs, here are the others.

You guys know me. I own a few "tacs", but they really are not my thing.

But Don, those are mind blowing.:D
