Just bought a Brend design off of the 4 sale forums. This has the coco bola scales. NIB. Wonderful folder and uber smooth. As smooth as my BM 970 that was pimped to a mirror finish where the washers ride. 440c steel, excellant lock up and now razor sharp. Seamless fit and finish between the bolsters and wood slabs. Locks up tight and am happy as I have looked for one for quite some time. This is a minty example of the ilk for this knife. Keepem sharp and thanks

Aloha sir,

Long time no see!

I agree regarding the Brend...that is one awesome folder, and I wish they would re-intro it within the current product line up. It was kinda like the M-Type and Hyper...just totally underestimated!!!

God bless and pics please!!!

Be sure to check the integrity of the lock before using it heavily. I owned one of those way back when. In fact, it was my very first "tacti-kewl". I don't know if the issue was ever addressed but the liners on mine were exceptionally thin making the lock very weak and allowing "flex" when gripped tightly. It was a real heart breaker since it was gorgeous to look at and had a marvelous blade on it.

Lock up is fine no matter what I do to it. Even my spine whack test it passes with flying colors. Aloha to you to DW! This is a very fine knife and well made to boot. I'll post pics with my camera later this wk. Have to go out to a lake house we rented for the wk. keepem sharp
