The Frontiersman

I bought this hawk in Alaska about 5 years ago and I am trying to find out who made it and any information/opinions on it. The only mark on it is on the handle "The Frontiersman".

Any information is much appreciated.

It was made by Bear Mountain, who are no longer around as far as I know. They used to have a subforum here but has been shuffled off to the archives.

I don't know what happened to them.
