My tan/tan Battle Rat was looking a little rough after being a part of my wedding, going with me to Africa (and putting down a sick Wildebeest), eradicating green stuff in the hills around here, breaking open coconuts and chopping down dead trees in the yard. After painting my AR a few weeks back while doing one of my SWAT buddies rifles, I noticed the Krylon Khaki and Brown blended in great with my FDE Eberlestock. I decided to make the Battle Rat a permanent companion to my AR...

Like New (well...it was new to me at this time)...

Very very nice! Thanks for posting that! :D

Wow my eyes didnt even pick up the battle rat in the last picture. I seen the rifle but the knife blended right in!

Sometime color blindness sucks lmao but camo is really camouflage to me....

Thanks Guys!

Krylon is the underated finish for firearms coatings... you can adjust it to the area you plan to be in, it can be touched up (although I like the beat up look it gets after being in the field and I think it enhances the effect in some settings), you can blend the colors easier than with other camo kits, it's NON REFLECTIVE and best of all...you can remove the paint completely if necessary.

That Battle Rat and I have had some GOOD times together!!!

Your turn...post those Battle Rat pics of you got 'em...

Is that just standard krylon or is it a special type? I have a gun and old recurve I wanna try but not sure what paint to buy. Can you post a pic of the can or provide more detail of the paint please. Nice job. image.jpgimage.jpg
