I'm not really one to sit around and just sell a couple things over and over I like to design and create new things constantly. I have been stuck in a bit of a rut lately building what seems the same 12 sheaths over and over again so I have decided to reshuffle things around here and bump some long laid plans up 6 or 8 months.
Initially I planned on waiting until I had fully trained a new person or two before offering this part of things online because my lead time on orders will start increasing at an alarming rate. Right now I am running about 3 weeks on orders, in 6 months, assuming things go as planned, it will probably be double that at least. To offset this some, I will be pulling 30-40% of my sheath offerings for the time being from the feebay place and my site until I get someone fully versed in how to do things, some makes I am permanently discontinuing, Bark River, DPX, BHK to name a few. Some of the current sheath designs are complicated builds and eat up a lot of time and clog up things. This way will allow me to work on some new things and refine certain sheath designs I have marked for looking at and hopefully train this noob into something more useful than a knife fondling half arsed sammich maker
Seriously a pbj does not take alot of thinking. Noob.
Next June will see us relocating out east where I have a dedicated shop being built and taking a business partner which will bring us up to 3 f/t hide pounders. Lots of new equipment and unusual leather showed up here this week to increase production and quality of things to come. Why expand? Well when I have free time I am usually doodling, currently I have a bit over 1,000
patterns designed, laminated and cataloged for future builds, knife sheaths and other fun things. I live and breathe this stuff.
If I have taken something down you really, really wanted and just can't live without you can always email me about it and I will see if it can be squeezed in.
Some things that are going to be in effect in the very short future are a new finish coat for all builds, a combination of montana pitch blend and some other things, and finally sourcing a supplier for true heavy duty phosphate flat black snaps. Actually the same as the military uses on the molle gear.
Enough of the blather, how about some.......

SHARK SKIN PRON!!!! WOOOO!
Bush style sheath is my favorite style, I hate retention straps and, if done right, it will hold a variety of similar sized knives. I like overlays better than inlays, well about half the time. Sometimes.
My pouch design is pretty spiffy according to people. Now it's more spiffier.
I am going out of town for the weekend and didn't have time to finish the firesteel holder for the pouch, use your imagination or something and think about a shark lined firesteel loop.
PPQ in an OWB Holster, IWB on the bench this week, My current favorite slug thrower. Well probably right up until I get my gnome sized Springfield EMP.
These are mine you can't have them, I very seldom build things for myself. Still working on a sheath for a skeletool, something I usually do not build but since it's me I'll make an exception this time.
Before you ask... Exotic skins are pricey even in bulk, some like elephant and ostrich are......
Currently I have a bunch of dead animals around here including sharks, gators, crocs, ostrich which are evil creatures and I am glad are dead, elephants, stingray and some other weird stuff that I have no idea.
Stay tuned, According to my sources I believe some serious gator pronage is coming in the next couple weeks...........
