The newest model from JK Handmade Knives, the GBH (Get Back Home). This is a heavy duty all purpose knife, made to stand up to hard use. I`ve been using this one for a while, and it performs great!

Specs:
9 3/4" overall
5" blade
3/16" thick O1 steel
Rounded spine
Thumb ramp
Saber grind

$200 + $8 shipping, including your choice of a leather pouch sheath or kydex sheath. Available to order now, with deliveries starting in February.

Awesome knife John.I like the long straight clip & rounded spine.
If I didn't have the Tool I'd want this for my GBH knife.

Well, I guess I have the answer to an earlier question! :D

Looks good, but also makes me realize that "3/16 O-1 tool steel" never sunk in before. This is one big knife!

It will also be available in 1/8" O1 for $180.

That should be a lot more manageable unless one wants to use it as a deadfall (or whatever the right word is).

Holy Moly! That's a good one. Still you can't tempt me away from the modern bowie - the 1st of my JK knives of 2015.

Great looking knife! Keep up the good work John. People are loyal to you for a reason. For me, I know that I'm a lifetime member. :)

This model is replacing the C/U-6, I can offer it at a lower price, and to me it`s just a bit more practical. If anyone wants it with a longer blade, just ask and I can give a price. Also, unlike the C/U-6, it is available in all the handle materials I offer.

The knife looks like a comfortable and nicely sized working companion.

I like the first picture with the cork - the extra work on the handle contouring really shows up in that picture.

I also like what your are doing now with the sharpening choil.

Is the spine rounded on this model?

best

Ha, that's funny, I can't stand sharpening choil cutouts. When I grab up a string or such to cut, it always seems to catch in it or when I stab through a hide or cloth that often grabs. I really don't see what good it does, but hey different strokes......

Awesome heavy duty knife by the way!

Nice utlitiy knife, I also like the way the handle is contoured better than the cu 6. Looks very handy.
