Lostball is one of those low keyed members that is a super guy but some of you may not know of him. I certainly didn't until recently. He won my last GAW, we hit it off and have become friends. In fact he lives about the same distance from SMKW as I do only in the opposite direction so we are planning a trip there to meet in person and hang out on a Saturday sometime soon. Yesterday I went to the mailbox and found a package from him. In it I found a beautiful Solingen made near mint Bonsa Barlow, a near mint Imperial Diamond Edge 857DE Camp knife with a tang stamp that dates it between 1956 and 1988 and last but not least an unused Schrade Walden 204s Electricians knife with a tang stamp that that dates it between 1946 to 1973. Thanks so much Lostball.

I added some additional pictures of the Bonsa because I couldn't find out much about them so if any of you have any info on Bonsa please post it here.

This got me thinking about all the knives that have been gifted to me or I have won in GAW's from you wonderful folks. In fact these knives make a great and fairly large collection of knives by themselves not to mention the non-knife things I have been given here like pocket slips, books, flashlights, a handmade silver guitar pick and so on. The generosity here is phenomenal because I have certainly never done anything to deserve the kindness so many of you have afforded me. So thank you all for allowing me to be part of this wonderful internet community. If I missed any knife in this picture that you may have given me I am sorry it was not intentional.

Congrats on three fantastic knives, Randy!!:thumbsup: Each one is exceptional, but that Bonsa teardrop really grabbed my attention if only because it's so unusual (at least in my experience).:cool: Plaudits to Lostball for his thoughtful magnanimity!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I agree with almost everything that Randy wrote here; I've also experienced incredible generosity from the denizens of The Porch. My only issue with Randy's statement is related to the bolded statement, since I KNOW that Randy's mailing budget must be astronomical from all the gift knives he sends out on a regular basis!!!:thumbsup::cool::D:D There are few people here more deserving of our kindness than Randy!;)

Fanastic gifts! Very fine act, Lostball Lostball !

I absolutely agree with GT; you are absolutely deserving, Randy! Your generosity is legendary 'round these parts! You've got a wonderful collection of friends and knives.

Thank you for the kind words Randy and everyone but as several people have already said, you are quite deserving. As a newbie here I feel you were the outstretched hand that welcomed me onto the porch. Thank you for being my friend and my counsel. Also thank you for the neat toys you have gifted to me as well. As several others have stated, your postage bill is constantly increasing. Again, thank you for your friendship and your contributions here on the porch.

PS: I am getting so impatient to debut my GA knife. Hopefully it's not too far away!!!! :)

Awesome show fella's.

The bone on the Bonsa is awesome and the knife in whole looks nicely put together.
