The Gerber Mark II: Discontinued?

On the Cutlery Shoppe website it claims that the Gerber Mark II is being discontinued. Now I checked the Gerber website and it said nothing about this. Has anyone heard anything about this or can someone confirm this. I would just like to know because if it is true i'd like to buy one before they get scarce and I always wanted to get one anyway and it would be a good excuse to get one
