The Gerber Profile Folder

I've had one for several months, used it around the house as a beater and carry it every so often.

I believe the steel is 440A with a TiNi coating.

I'm not a big Gerber fan, but the profile and the new Metolius have both seemed better than a lot of their stuff.

I have the fixed blade version and it's a good rough use field knife, for prying etc. 440A doesn't hold the best edge, but it also sharpens real fast. I like the blade design, and yes the rubber grips feel cheap. It's a real user though, I have definitely got my money's worth out of that knife.
I also do not like Gerbers, their TiNi coating seems to CAUSE rust, as gerbers are the only SS knives I have ever had that rusted on me. Their QC and materials just plain suck.

It's okay. It's worth the money and is pretty tough. As for the cheap feeling handles, they hold up pretty well.
