Well I won SteelSnob's GEC giveaway and that puts my karma in a state of imbalance so I must do something before the dogs start biting me...lol.

I thought about recent giveaways... SAKs, GECs, Bucks, customs, all manner of knives. Yet in recent history no one has given away that all American knife, the Ka-Bar.

So I am going to gift this OHO89 Ka-Bar. Not sure what to call this pattern other than a One Hand Mini Trapper with a spey secondary blade. This was a special run done for the 1989 Collectors Club with Briar Burl scales, it is 1 of 766 knives made with these scales and is very minty. I hope whoever wins it will use it and wear some of that new off. Not exactly a safe queen but when I did carry it it was always in a pocket case.

I haven't had a Ka-Bar since the early eighties. I'd like to join in if you'll have me.
 
I had a Ka-Bar slippie & threw it in on a trade to another member here in the Traditionals.

Very generous of you & beautiful knife.
 
I don't qualify, because this is the first time I have posted in the traditional forum, but I just wanted to say I think you pushed your karma out of balance to the good side with this giveaway and that that is a gorgeous knife some one is going to get a beauty.
 
That's a whole lot different than the KBAR I carried in the Corps!

Cool knife! Only Kabars I have are FBs. Thanks for the chance. Wouldn't that be divine justice if I won? Hahah.
 
Thanks for the chance, Abs. I really like razor trappers-- this would be a great addition to my stash.

Gave a Ka-bar fixed blade to my son-in-law who is in Special Forces at Fort Bragg, but don't own one myself . . . YET!
 
I'd love to be counted in for this give-away. I think I have one Ka-Bar folder and one day I will be my grandad's FB Ka-Bar. Thank you for your generosity.
