My buddy Red gave me a brand spanking new BK-2 recently. It was so shiny and black that I couldnt bring myself to roughing it up. Then I realized it was a Becker, and it had to be whooped on, or it would be unhappy. Today I spent 3 hours battoning it into a "user". Red oak, osage, elm, maple, ash, and some cottonwood were the sacrifice I offered to it.
It passed with flying colors! I cant tell ya how much I appreciate it Red, you are the man!

Sorry, I dont take pictures very well.

why does everyone have a Brute except me??!? asdfljkasdf;jlasdfasdf

Ta hell with the Brute. :D

Now, that BK2 is a real go get'er.

Looks like you broke its cherry, but there is a long way to go before its strip and patina. I bet you could take some 0000 steel wool and make it look like new. Prolly didn't get through to the metal yet.

Oh, and there's 2 more secrets I just got a couple of days ago.

Love teasin'. Just freakin' love it.

:evil grin:

They're going to offer a stripped version of the BK2?

Great gift and good job roughing it up! I picked up BK11's and 14's for a lot of family members for Christmas this year.

patches and bottles are coming out before the end of time? :D

You've amassed quite the collection there Josh. Good stuff.

I had felt a disturbance in the "force", it was very painful for a while. It subsided just here lately. Must of been the BK2 not being beat on for a while.

Glad to see it getting used.
