The Glock Field Knife

thats been around for like 20 years, I have one tough as hell but not the most ergo shape for a all purpose use.

They were THE fad at my department a few years back... everyone bought one. Just about everyone still has Theirs, they seem to be holding up fine.

Mine just would not take a good edge. Gave it to a stripper I knew. She liked it. The saw on the back turned her on.

It's a bayonet with the barrel lug removed. Had one in the early eighties, good field prybar, loved the red cast in the German bluing. Great sheath, had a molded snap release that was a little too secure, but you could wedge it under the LBE suspenders webbing upside down and never worry.

If I was going to the Sandbox, or any box, I would seriously consider it over the usual assortment of wide, heavy bladed and difficult to wear alternatives.
