Well guys,
today I had a beautiful surprise, this Gobbo from Loreto Aprutino

The “Gobbo” is a traditional Italian knife

As the Gobbo from Loreto Aprutino (a village placed on South-East area of Italy) is more refined that the Gobbo from Guardiagrele (a village near to), the filework is typical of this model

Half stop, the joint is really strong, but not a nailbraker

The Gobbo completely opened

Dorsal view

Look how the joint match the blade

Other side of the knife

The typical shape of the blade

Hope do you like it, mates.
Ciao,
Alfredo

That's a nice looking knife, Alfredo. Thanks for showing us. I'm curious how long it is? It looks to be a pretty good size.

Beautiful knife, Alfredo! Looks nice sitting on the fall leaves!

Very nice! I'm really enjoying seeing all the different European knives we've been shown lately.

The words that come to my mind are, stunningly beautiful.:thumbup::thumbup:

I love these knives from that region, they seem to possess a grace and beauty of design that most modern knives totally lack. The polished horn, smooth lines where the blade and handle meet flow nicely. If you and Fausto keep showing these knives, I just may have to take a vacation over there for a knife buying trip. :D

Carl.

Love to see these knives you are showing us:thumbup:
This one has a lot of charm, and elegance! Beautiful horn, nice blade shape, and file work.
Thank You for sharing.

awesome knife! i really dig how they made the backspring meet the top of the knife with the continuous filework, gives it a "seamless" look.

Wow! Beautiful file work, and that horn is gorgeous. I wouldn't have liked to meet the animal that had those
