James Brown died this Christmas day; which I think is appropriate, considering how many gifts he gave the music world.

When Perry Como and Andy Williams were considered; hot :jerkit:James was

a beacon of light for us youngsters who were looking for some soul.

With his masterfull on stage performances and soulfull sound, he gave hope to the music starved rockers of the day.

His first big hit, Please, Please, Please, hooked me and many like me, into a

lifelong following of his music along with the Motown Sound.

Thanks James for all the great music.
