I've always been a big fan of knives hafted with green Micarta that are sporting red liners ala Bob Loveless. Since I'll never be able to step up to a Loveless knife I thought that I'd got this route....

A couple of years ago I decided to get on Mike and Manuela Lovett's loooong waiting list for a 'City Knife'. I got an email from Mike this past Spring telling me he had a customer drop off of the list for a 'City Knife' and wanted to know if I'd like to take their place....OF COURSE I DID!!!

I had a few knives in my time and I've been over this thing like I can't even tell y'all and it's as perfect an example of cutlery as I have ever seen....ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS! The thing looks like it's completely integral and has about the finest fit and finish of anything that I have.

Congrats! VERY nice knife for sure.

Mike Lovett's knives always look CLEAN and well made.

Had I known I would have stopped by!!! I have been to Fort Hood so many times!!!
 
That's a wonderful knife. I've always been a huge fan of that pattern and Mike Lovett's work.
