Well the good is that I got me a new buckaroo. He is TSBARON1 here on the forum(although yet to post) And through my endless talk of Buck knives:D he has got in the game with a new Vantage Avid. Turns out he also has a '86 112, that looks pretty darn good after I cleaned, sharpened and oiled:), and supposedly a 110 of unknown vintage that he believes must have been abducted by his step-son.:grumpy:.

The Bad is that he and his wife were over a couple days after he got it and we were both flicking and closing just as fast as we could and trying to do it in tandem just to bug the wives:D Well I got goin a little too fast and careless and slipped up off the liner lock and up the blade leaving the bad

And now for the ugly...His wife happens to be the same girl who cut herself with my 110 at her birthday and I set the thread of Friends dont let friends use knifes where I was less than complimentary. As you can imagine, it got a little ugly for my pride:foot:

And you got cut?

Gosh.....who coulda seen that coming?

:D

Good Story Fritz. Rub a little dirt on that thumb...it'll be OK. :)

Dirt didnt work, cant find my liquid skin:( Thats about the worse place to slice yourself cause you use the tip of that thumb to button shirts, peel oranges, flick the thumb stud, push a liner lock, and man I dont even want to talk about eating kettle cooked heavily salted tater chips the next day while the cut was still fresh. Thats llike rubbin salted chips into an open wound:p:eek:
