The Good Ole Days

Whatever happened to "NO REGRETS"?

Regret what, I tried to buy all of the Extravaganza knives last night!!

:D

This is just a guess, but I think Mike might be saying "No Regrets" in what you buy and Also in what you might not get to buy.

If this is the case I agree, there is an awful lot of complaining that has been going on lately. Generally because someone feels that they have "a right" to buy something and that they may not have got it.

It is not coming from the "old HOG's" but generally some of the new people.

It makes it much less enjoyable when people complain.

I appreciate what Jerry and Garth do for us on the forums in regards to these Extravaganza's, it is a lot of work and it would be much easier to just make these knives and take them to shows and sell. So from Me, thank you Jerry and Garth for all that you do to make these forums fun and exciting

:D:D

I simply meant that we seem to increasingly be getting folks here not familiar with that creed. Maybe Mike or someone needs to give a refresher course.

I had server access problems, also, and got in a little late. So what? That's the game. It's supposed to be fun. It is fun, if you give it your best shot and then have "no regrets". It's definitely not fun to someone who is constantly on the lookout to yell, "no fair!"

There's only really a few who were complaining.
IMO, we teach them best by being good sportsmen!

i have many hoof prints on my back from being a lil slow to the trough, most of us wear the battle scars from fighting at the trough....

they will just have to learn to get their lil stubby piggy legs moving a bit faster next time.

i for one had a blast and this HOG has absolutly

NO REGRETS!:p

Great fun for me last night. First time I've gotten to fight my way to the trough, had a blast, and lots of coffee.

Thanks for keeping it fun!

Amen bubba!

To Jerry & Garth: Thanks for the Extravaganza. The site was a place to dream in the week before the sale. The prices are great and, if I'm lucky, it means the order for my second piece of INFI happened in less than a week following my first order! If I'm not lucky, it was still fun! Thanks!!

To everyone else: Thanks for the welcome to the Busse forum. I've had fun and look forward to the new offerings as they come.

And, as a side note for Jerry, your marketing plan worked. I'm here as a direct result of my positive experiences with my Swamp Rats. Eric does a heck of a job over in the Swamp.

:D

My only regret was that the server went down before my master plan could unfold. Dadgum server. Spark needs mo' power. :D

Man, it was a blast. If I don't get the first piece of INFI, I had a ball watching all the Hogs, Piglets, Hog-Wannabes, and other sundry (ie. Rats) chomping at the bandwidth bit. Thanks to Jerry and Garth for this one.

NO REGRETS!

I hope you dont mean me when you are talking about people complaining. I was only complaining about the lack of prices, but that was quickly fixed. I have no regrets. If I don't score anything here, I will have that much more to spend later.

No, it wasn't you that was complaining ;)

Where did the term "No Regrets!" come from?

The only other time that I've heard that said so much, was on a TV Show about US Navy Seals. This former (elder aged) Seal is talking about old missions, and how he quote, "wishes that he had a few more missions to complete, but that he had quote, "No Regrets" about anything that he had/or had NOT done in the past..

My only "regret" is that I didn't have enough money to call Jerry and persuade him to sell everything to me before he released it to the public!!

This whole thing was a blast, from seeing the new knives come up, to hearing the ooh's and ahh's from the crowd, to the fantastic pricing, to everything else! :D :D

A big thanks to Jerry and all at Busse Combat - hope we can do it more often!
