is repeatedly discovering that you own some nice knives!:D

For instance, I just read the Skeleton Key thread and realized, hey, I have some of those! I had completely forgotten about them. I need to go do a refresher tour of the knife closet, I suppose, and see what's lurking there.
Does this ever happen to any of you other old farts?

Got the same problem. It's like discovering a knife treasure for the first time but the elation soon disappears when you begin to wonder if these "senior moments" are coming all too frequently. :o

There's an old phrase that is apropo: "The greatest thing about getting senile is that you make new friends every day." :D

Not that I'm that old of a fart, but I did get a prescription for my first bifocals today.:grumpy: Not just being in the disabled category of Adult ADD, but eccentric by the standards of some woman who runs around here claiming to be Mrs. MMIAM, I forget (or overlook) many such things. I have more half prepared "Preparedness Kits" than you can shake a stick at. I run across some really cool stuff that somebody like me put away like I would for me. ;) :D
I wish I would "discover" an SFNO, BAIII and an NMOASH tucked away neatly somewhere with an AK47.;)

Mike if you need help doing inventory, just let me know. I'll even bring the cigars:D

Eeeyep, quite often.

Was rummaging the other day, found 3 Assault shakers I'd forgotten I had, nestled with my Pepper Shaker, two Skeleton Keys, and a Vegas prize knife.

Still never found what I was looking for.

Two hunters from Ohio, Staiu and Wladek, hired a pilot to fly them to Canada to hunt moose. They bagged six.

As they started loading the plane for the return trip home, the pilot tells them the plane can take only three moose. The two objected strongly, stating; "Last year we shot six moose and the pilot let us put them all on board and he had the same plane as yours." Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. Unfortunately, even on full power, the little plane couldn't handle the load and went down a few minutes after takeoff. Climbing out of the wreck, Stasiu asked Wladek, "Any idea where we are?"

Wladek replied, "I think we're pretty close to where we crashed last year."

.

I don't do that with knives but I do with cloths. I can never remember if the shirt I'm looking for is here in San Francisco, at my girlfriends or my other house.:grumpy:

Most of the time they are just in the unfolded laundry.:o

And I can’t say how many times I have driven 15-30 miles to a clients to work there for the day and then realizes that I forgot to bring my keys to the workspace.

I'm not taht senile yet - my first Busse was back in July or August. LOL

Mud, 5, 9, PD, 5 wardens, CGFBM, AD. . . I think that might be it. Dangit, I might be senile too!
