This is the perfect EDC knife! It´s small but not to small, it´s sharp and strong, open and closes superfast and it´s light. This is a Mini Griptillian the NRA limited version.
I never intended to buy this knife but I got a good price (about 75 dollars) and I thought it would be fun to try a knife with serrations. The blade steel is S30V wich is as good steel you can get on this planet. And it was litterarly razor sharp out of the box. I could easely cut arm hair with it. The knife has BK1 black blade coating to prevent rust (and make it look cooler) and it has the NRA logo on it (I don´t care much for the NRA so I´ll have to take the good with the bad). The famous Axis-lock is really awesome. You´ll open the knife super-fast with practically no effort at all. And you can close it at superspeed as well. The lock is strong and secure. Benchmade claims it´s the strongest lock in the business and I tend to think that to.
The handles is in Valox wich is strong and light and the handles is textured so it won´t slip out of your hand. I also like the thumb guard wich is deep enough to prevent you from slicing your thumb.
This is (for me) the perfect EDC knife. It´s strong, light, superfast and supersharp and has got supersteel. It´s so light it disapears in my pocket. I´ll find it hard to justify another knife after this one. I can´t think of a better package. Ok, there is plenty more expensive folders out there but what will a 335 dollars Sebenza do that my Grip won´t? I would think nothing. Ok, if you´r lost in the jungle a machete would be better but I live in a city. The hunt for the perfect EDC is over!
