So lately, a ton of stuff has been happening that basically makes me believe even more in a greater cosmic order to life.
And I have been able to appreciate the world through less cynical eyes than almost at anytime that I can think of in the last 25 years. I was stuck on a train in NJ today for 3 hours, waiting for Amtrak to clear a downed powerline. When I got home I rushed out to get Indian food as my wife and myself didn't have the energy to cook tonight. After dinner, I saw that I won a GAW that Krav hosted.
So in the spirit of Krav's generosity, and the fact that we can only have so many knives at one time to cut stuff up with. I have to pay a knife forward, it's NO where near as nice as the one Krav put up in his GAW. But if it's any consolation I traded a mint GEC to get this one even though the GEC was twice the price. I did that because I liked the design so much. It's an A.G. Russell Medium Barlow lockback. I was super stoked to discover it after looking for a nice medium sized pocket knife that was full size but compact. It's a traditional but it has washers at the pivot and opens super smooth. To top it off it's a zulu spear blade with cocobolo handles.
