Even while finals descend upon me, I give knives to family and friends this Christmas. Made my giant NGK order today:

Coccobolo Kopa (for olddd friend graduating from Baylor U)
VG10 Native III for cousin
Byrd Crossbill for nephew
Boker 8288HH for dad
Spyderco Delica 50/50 Serrated (at his request) for uncle
Benchmite II for girlfriend

300 dollars. That hurts. Big time.

But they're worth it. Probably. Had to cancel my D`allara drop point to afford that kopa though. So no new knives for me this Christmas. But I will try and review all of these (in a very gentle way, mind you) before they get to their recipients.

Anyone else finish their big order?
 
Nope, not finnished yet! I'm getting them from different sources. The shipping is what is tickin me off. I could have a Kershaw E.T for all the shipping I'm paying out!

The guy graduating from Baylor is going to be a happy camper. I've got the Kopa w/cocobola handles and love it. It's a great lookin' knife, scary sharp and built like a little tank.

I'm flirting with the idea of getting a Kopa in each of the handle materials, but not sure I want to become that much of a collector.
 
I havent gone knife crazy this year, I am focusing on other things. That hasnt stopped be getting 2x Victorinox classic stayglow and 1x victorinox huntsman lite as gifts though. They set me back the equivalent of about $90 though, sounds like you got a bargain Artfully Martial
 
last year I gave my dad a griptilian - he never even carries it. Im going to threaten to take it back this year!:mad:

It's only gonna get worse, post office is raising rates after the first of the year big time, especially for priority
 
I posted a thread yesterday about my foray into buying/trading the last 2 weeks. Just took delivery of a Lightfoot mag. predator backup, I think that is what it is called. Got it from NC Blades. Waiting to hear if he likes my Moonsong. Others are a Linder convex ground machete, Kershaw Boa, Spyderco Mannix, older Randall Attack mod 14, and a EKI 98 Comm. Will probably give some away at Xmas time. I have my best friend fighting multiple myealoma. So I will give him something special. Thats about it. keepem sharp
 
I bought 2 SAK mini SDs in grey, on sale for £15.00 for the pair, theyre gonna be stocking fillers for er...someone (or maybe micro PSK knives for me!) also bought a Leatherman micro in a presentation tin with a Princeton tec pulsar for £29.95, thats definitely mine! My first ever tiny leatherman & I love it!
